The Nativity of the Virgin Mary Convent was founded in 1911. The convent performed charity activities, nuns carried out upbringing and awareness-raising work among parishioners. In the 50s of the previous century the authorities closed the convent, and the sisters living in it were sent on exile. The premises of the church started being used as mental hospitals. Almost 40 years later not far from the former convent a new convent appeared. The convent in Hoshiv has a small walking yard, fenced by the gallery.
