The Orthodox monastery in the village of Nyzkynychi, Volyn region, was founded in 1643 by Adam Kysil. The architectural ensemble of the monastery is based on the five-domed Dormition church in the form of a regular-shaped cross with equal-size side parts. The Dormition church, bell tower, and the fence built in the 17th century possess the status of a monument of architecture of national importance. Since 2011 the Museum of Antiquities and Folk Life has been functioning at the Monastery.
