The Dominican Monastery is the monastery of the first Lutsk catholic order; a monument of architecture of national importance, located in the historical and cultural reserve Staryi Lutsk. The Dominican complex in Lutsk was founded by Władysław II Jagiełło, but during the siege of the city in 1431 the complex was destroyed. The second complex was erected in the style of Classicism. Though its cathedral was dismantled in the XIXth century, but now one may still see its remnants in the southern part. The old preserved wall is several metres high and about two metres long, and the wall above those old remnants has been partially restored.
