In 1740 Sheptytsky built a stone St. Nickolas Church in baroque style. The temple was decorated with a highly artistic iconostasis, paintings performed in the Ukrainian style, presented with many church items, liturgy books, church bells — a real masterpiece of the foundry art of Lviv craftsmen. A two-layer wooden bell tower was built close to the temple in 1772, and it was restored and completed in 1883. Its lower storey at the same time served as the gate to the church estate. Over the recent years the central building of the monastery has been rebuilt, the monastery canteen has been restored and expanded, the territory is being provided with amenities, the Church of the Praise of the Mother of God and the Church of the Nativity of Christ have been built. The main shrine of the monastery is the wonder-working icon of the Mother of God of Kozelshchyna (Merciful). It was presented to the monastery by Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
